The Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé is pleased to announce the granting of $2,500 to support the purchase of fitness equipment for the Anse-à-Valleau Recreation Committee community room. Thanks to funding from several partners, a rowing machine and a leg press were added to the room's equipment.

The Foundation decided to support their project because the room is open to all free of charge, and more importantly, many users of the GMF Grand Gaspe gestion of chronic illness monitoring program in collaboration with the CISSS de la Gaspesie use the room to continue their personalized training program. Additionally, other people with health problems benefit from this room to maintain a better quality of life and physical health, such as people with heart problems. New mothers who have recently given birth also regularly attend this room to regain their postpartum fitness.

The Foundation is pleased to be able to contribute to this project, allowing the population to maintain a better quality of life and health.
