THE FONDATION SANTÉ CÔTE-DE-GASPÉ GRANT $9,300 TO MAINTAIN A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE FOR MGR ROSS

The Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé is proud to fund a project initiated by the Residents' Committee of the CHSLD Mgr-Ross de Gaspé. The CUCI (CISSS Users Committee) and the Côte-de-Gaspé Users Committee collaborated for this project.


The Foundation agreed to fund the project with an amount of $5,000 to purchase an "Obie" interactive projector, with a total value of approximately $12,000. The "Obie" Includes a choice of 60 adapted games. This project will allow animation technicians to offer all residents and their families the opportunity to participate by combining physical, cognitive and sensory activity.

Following the dissolution of the MGR Ross Volunteer Committee, $4,300 was returned to the Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé. As this amount was allocated for the organization of activities for the residents, the Foundation agreed to donate this amount to Monseigneur Ross' Recreation Committee for the same purpose.

This grant meets one of the Foundation's objectives in its mission, which is to improve the quality of the living environment for all residents of the CHSLD Mgr-Ross.
