"The Lottery that does good" allows the Gaspésie Health Foundations to collaborate with the Association du Cancer de l'Est du Québec for ticket sales. This partnership allows the Foundations to keep 50% of the total amount of tickets sold on their territory. The Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé is really pleased to inform you that its lottery partnership this year raised $5,515 for a total of 1,103 tickets sold on the Côte-de-Gaspé territory.

The Foundation wishes to keep this amount in order to help people with cancer in our territory. Therefore, it is proud to announce that this sum will be donated in full to the Gaspé Cancer Foundation, which has been a great help in the sale of such a large number of tickets.

Ms. Julie Bernard, Director of the Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé and Mr. Tony Patterson, President of the Gaspé Cancer Foundation, visited various grocery stores and shopping centres in Grand-Gaspé to offer the public the opportunity to buy tickets. During these days, an additional $71.40 was raised in piggy banks that is added to the grant. A sum of $5,586.40 will be donated to the Gaspé Cancer Foundation to support them in their mission.

We would also like to thank all the merchants for their welcome and all those who contributed to this great success by buying us one or more tickets. With this press release, we are also very pleased to inform you that Mr. Tony Patterson will now sit on the Board of Directors of

the Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé.

For all those who would like to know the names of the winners, you can read it following this press release in our newsletter on our website at www.fondationsantecotedegaspe.com. The Fondation Santé-Côte-de-Gaspé is proud of these partnerships and assures you of its upcoming participation in "The lottery that does good".
