THE JUMPSTART FOUNDATION DONATES $2,700 TO THE FONDATION SANTÉ CÔTE DE-GASPÉ FOR THE BALISE

Since June 2019, the Foundation has agreed to consider youth shelters in its initiatives. Thanks to the Jumpstart Foundation, which is donating $2,700 to the Côte-de-Gaspé Health Foundation, and the collaboration of Canadian Tire of Gaspé, the La Balise youth shelter will benefit from a greenhouse.

This equipment will allow the youth living there to prepare agricultural workshops and community cooking activities during their harvests. This project will help develop better social connections among the teenage girls, foster responsibilities, and improve the quality of life at the facility.

The Foundation is proud to collaborate with the Jumpstart Foundation on this project, which aligns with our mission: to improve the quality of care, health, and social services for our entire community.
