THE FONDATION SANTÉ CÔTE-DE-GASPÉ AWARDS $22,185 FOR THE ACQUISITION OF AN ELECTROCARDIOGRAM IN MENTAL HEALTH

The Mental Health department was previously located at MGR Ross and since moving to the 6th floor of Gaspé Hospital, sharing an electrocardiogram to check users' cardiac response to medications between departments has become more difficult.

As the medications prescribed to this clientele can lead to cardiac arrhythmia, it is important for this department to be able to have its own device at all times. This also ensures safer medication treatment for users.

The Foundation is therefore proud to have financed the purchase of this device. This grant perfectly meets our mission: to ensure better quality of care, health and social services for our entire population.
