THE CÔTE-DE-GASPÉ HEALTH FOUNDATION GRANTS A PORTABLE SHOWER FOR THE CHSLD MGR ROSS THANKS TO THE 2024 PARTNER LOTTERY

For the first time, the Foundation is pleased to have associated a specific funding request with one of its activities. Although the Partner Lottery raised approximately $15,200, the Côte-de-Gaspé Health Foundation is pleased to inform that a grant of $22,680 was awarded for the CHSLD Mgr Ross.

Thanks to the acquisition of a portable shower (Wishower), residents will be able to benefit from a new alternative that is even safer than traditional methods and a more human experience, directly in their room. The shower limits the risk of spreading infections, considerably reduces the risk of injuries related to travel and offers a more effective method for healthcare staff.

This grant is perfectly in line with one of the Foundation's objectives in its mission, which is to improve the quality of life and care in our health care institutions. You can also make a targeted donation specifically for the CHSLD Mgr Ross which will be considered for future grant applications.
