Thanks to McHappy Day, YD restaurants donate $1,884,72 $ to Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé

McHappy Day was held on May 8th. The proceeds from this day were dedicated to the Côte-de-Gaspé Health Foundation and Ronald McDonald Houses.

During this day, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of food and beverages, as well as those from the sale of promotional items, were donated to the cause. Families were also invited to come meet the firefighters and two Paw Patrol mascots with their children to entertain them.

A total of $1,884.72 was donated to help sick children in our healthcare facilities. The Foundation would like to thank YD Restaurants for their generosity, as well as all the many volunteers present during this day. The proceeds will be used to purchase a portable pulse oximeter for neonatal and pediatric patients (used to measure blood oxygen levels) and a doptome (used to measure the baby's heart rate in the womb of the pregnant person).

We also thank the team at the McDonald's restaurant in Gaspé for their warm welcome on this day. Together, we strive to improve the quality of care, health, and social services for our community..
