On January 31st, a benefit supper was held open to all, presented by Construction Cotton, to which members of the heritage club were invited free of charge. During this evening, we presented the types of planned donations in collaboration with Claude Turbide Financial Services.
We would like to thank Construction Cotton and PKL Services for the monetary sponsorships of this evening. The Foundation is proud to inform you that this supper raised a net amount of approximately $4,500 that will be added to our investments in unrestricted and available net assets to ensure and enhance future grants. During this evening, a little more than 75 participants gathered for the cause.
We would like to thank the Poissonnerie de Gaspé, the Fumoir Monsieur Émile, Les Produits Tapp, the Pêcheries Marinard, Pêcheries Gaspésienne, Maxi de Gaspé and the microbrewery at the Frontibus for the sponsored products on the menu. We would also like to thank Chalets Nautika, Un p'tit air sucré and Érablière Sigewigus for the door prizes, as well as the CLCA for the loan of kitchen equipment.
Also, we would like to thank Mr. Francis Gendron & Mr. Jonathan Cotton who took care of the logistics of the kitchen and the assembly of the delicious dishes served during this evening, Mr. Marc-Antoine Murray, head of the service as well as all the wonderful volunteers under their responsibility who made this event a success, but above all a memorable evening. We would like to thank and highlight the volunteer work of the Cyr Brothers who offered us music at the end of our evening.
Thank you all! See you next year!
