FOLLOWING ITS PARTICIPATION IN "LA LOTERIE QUI FAIT DU BIEN" AND THE SPAGHETTI SUPPER, THE FONDATION SANTE COTE-DE-GASPE DONATES $8,490 TO THE GASPE CANCER FOUNDATION

"La Loterie qui fait du bien" allows Gaspésie health foundations to collaborate with the Association du cancer de l'Est du Québec for ticket sales. This partnership allows foundations to keep 50% of the total amount of tickets sold on their territory. The Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé is very pleased to inform you that its partnership with the lottery this year raised $7,703 for more than 1,000 tickets sold in the Côte-de-Gaspé region.

The Foundation is committed to helping people with cancer in our territory. To this end, we are proud to announce that this amount will be donated in full to the Gaspé Cancer Foundation.

Mr. Tony Patterson, President of the Fondation du Cancer de Gaspé and his team visited various grocery stores and shopping centres in the Gaspé Coast area to offer the population the chance to buy tickets. We would also like to thank all the merchants for welcoming us and all those who contributed to this great success by buying ticket(s).

In addition, an extra $787 was raised through a spaghetti dinner organized in collaboration between the two foundations. A total of $8,490 is therefore being presented to the Gaspé Cancer Foundation for the year 2026.
