32nd Annual General Assembly for the Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé for 2020-2021

(Gaspé – October 18, 2021) On September 23, The Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé announced its balance sheet for the year 2020-2021. Despite the pandemic situation, the Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé was still able to award an amount of $8,697.

As of March 31, 2021, the Foundation’s assets reached a value of $1 381,613, including the Endowment Fund of $722, 533. We have an amount of $536, 248 available to continue our mission.

The financial statements show a decrease of 50 % in both revenue and expenses. However, the new management in place since January 2021 confirms that the following activities have taken place and will show a significant increase for the year 2021-2022 on the balance sheet: the Golf Tournament, the Employee lottery and ‘Un Tour de Baie pour TA Santé’.

Ms. Julie Bernard, Director, announced that there is a project on the table that will raise more than $20,000 if it is realized. The project has been redesigned: ‘A Partners Lottery’ with the same statistical probabilities as the one designed for the employees of the CISSS – RLS Côte-de-Gaspé.

In conclusion, we are very pleased to inform you that the position of President has been filled by Ms. Nadine Murray and Mr. Gilles Cloutier will hold the position of Vice-President. They, along with Ms. Johanne Trépanier, Secretary, Mr. Alban Béland, representative of the CISSS, Mr. Denis Bernier, Ms. Jessyca Dumaresq, Ms. Marie-Claude Lebeau and Mr. Maxime Bernier are very proud to be involved in a cause that affects our entire community and are grateful to be able to count on the loyal donors and volunteers from year to year.
